Movie- The Shameless

Renuka escapes Delhi brothel after killing a police inspector and arrives at a small town in Uttar Pradesh. She meets Devi and begins to love her. In between loving a person and facing the harsh world, she walks her path. It's depicts the plight of sex workers in India and how it's intertwined with gender, patriarchy and politics. Directed by Konstantin Bojanov starring Anasuya Sengupta, Oomara.  With the premiere screening at Geneva, I got a chance to catch up with the director and the actor.
